In 2009, San Antonio City Council created Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation, a local government corporation, to manage and oversee the redevelopment of HemisFair Park and its surrounding area.
HPARC is governed by an 11-member board comprised of representatives from a cross-section of local stakeholders. Board Members are appointed by the San Antonio City Council to serve two or four-year terms.
